We have an exciting announcement to make - this Autumn we will be launching our new British-Made PASTON clothing range and are currently showing it to our fabulous stockists across the UK.
THE PASTON LETTERS
The story of PASTON is a fascinating, compelling and a well documented tale of a medieval family on the make in the wake of the black death. Never missing an opportunity, they were visionary gamblers willing to stake everything on massive throws of the dice, and to fight for their reward with the tenacity of terriers, be it against carping villagers of their home manor in Norfolk or higher powers in the city. This family rose from humble serfdom in a wool rich Norfolk to be landlords and part of the privileged few. "Holding court in London" They built strong bonds with the right people at the right time, with their base in the rural East Norfolk and their business dealings in the city of London.
THE CITY POACHER
This collection not only reflects the PASTON spirit with audacious tweeds, flamboyant linings and oiled leather footwear with flare red linings; but it takes traditional country styles and blends them to styles in the city, much as the PASTON family did in medieval England. The clothes keep their sole being made from natural fabrics, where ever possible, and, most importantly, being designed, woven and made in Great Britain.
The Paston brand is part of the Gumleaf country clothing collection established in 2001.
